Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golzchenko told about the country’s plans to build his cargo terminal in the Russian port in an interview with the Belarus 1 TV channel, RIA Novosti reports.
As told Plyschenko, the Belarusian authorities identified the categories of goods, in the case of which the use of Russian ports can be economically appropriate. “Therefore, we work out very subject to the construction of your own port terminal in Russian ports,” he said. However, it is important that this does not cause the economy of enterprises from the point of view of logistics, noted the Belarusian Prime Minister.
According to politics, Russia expressed his willingness to choose possible areas for the construction of the terminal, which will comply with the requirements of Belarus. “If they arrange us, we look very positively on the option of implementing such an investment project to create our own port terminals in the Russian Federation,” said Golzchenko. This gives a certain guarantee that Belarusian goods are not stuck on the road, he stressed.
