Firefox 88.0.1 Update with Critical Vulnerability

Available Corrective release of Firefox 88.0.1, in which several corrections are proposed:

  • eliminated two vulnerabilities , one of which is related to the number of critical (CVE- 2021-29953). The specified problem allows you to execute JavaScript code in the context of another domain, i.e. Allows you to implement a kind of universal method of cross-site scripting. The second vulnerability (CVE-2021-29952) is caused by the status of the race in the components of the Web Render and can potentially be exploited to perform the attacker code.
  • Eliminated Problems when using the WideVine plug-in to play a paid protected content (DRM).
  • Fixed The problem that has been damaged by the video playing with Twitter or when WEBRTC calls on Intel systems with GPU Gen6.
