Basel (Switzerland) authorities found an effective way to deal with beggars, offering them to participate in an unusual deal, writes Basler Zeitung, RIA Novosti reports.
So, the authorities of the city offer beggars in exchange for a written promise not to return to the country to get a ticket to any European city. “They sign an obligation not to return to Switzerland – at least for the prescribed period of time,” said the representative of the local department of justice and security Toprak a drugs.
It is noted that for violation of the agreement beggar, deportation will be threatened.
In October last year, residents of the Swiss city of Geneva supported the introduction of the minimum wage (minimum wage) in the amount of 23 Swiss francs per hour.
