President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko called on the police “not to ceremony” in the protection of the interests of citizens, transfers BelTA.

On April 30, Lukashenko appointed new chiefs of the Department of Internal Affairs in the Minsk, Brest and Grodno regions. He stated them that they will “cover” three quarters of the country in a difficult setting.

Head of State noted that the situation in Belarus is developing “relatively kind of, they say, calmly, but cannot calm down.”

“You are people in the pursuit, and we dictate us that we should not ceremony, protecting the interests of our people. We do not defend themselves. Protect millions of people (and a transit country – interests intersect) – this is a question” , “said Lukashenko.

Earlier, the KGB of Belarus called the names of nine people accused of an attempt to capture state power and coup.

In turn, the commander of the inner troops of Belarus Nikolai Karpenkov promised to find and clean the whole “bloodthirsty opposition” remaining in the country.
