New fonts, which for the first time in 15 years will replace Calibri, are called Tenorite, Bierstadt, Skeena, Seaford and GrandView. They were created by order Microsoft various designers. According to the description, Tenorite, for example, is a traditional font without serifs with “warm and friendly style”, and Bierstadt is a font inspired by the classic Swiss typography of the middle of the XX century.

Fonts are already available to users in Microsoft 365 package. For five months, the company will collect feedback, and then decides what kind of font will become basic. Changes are scheduled for 2022.
