Member of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Vera Ganza stated that modern Russia could return to the Stalinist system to reduce food prices. However, this will be done only when the state will change the socio-economic system. About this politician agreed on the air radio station “says Moscow”.
“We now live in the image and likeness of the Western world. It will not work on two chairs to stop. In Stalin’s times, prices decreased constantly. But then there were state regulation of pricing policy, and now we were told – destroy the market itself,” the deputy said from KPRF.
Ganza noted that while in Russia the real state constrained factor on the rise in prices will not appear, the cost of goods will grow, and entrepreneurs will try to “grasp the momentary profit”, without thinking about the well-being of citizens.
Earlier on April 28, the media with reference to representatives of trading networks and suppliers reported the possible increase in prices for buckwheat and other cereals in the foreseeable future. According to their data, in February, suppliers began to overestimate purchasing prices by 7.5-15 percent. However, later the Russian authorities represented by the Ministry of Agriculture refuted this statement. The agency noted that the current production volumes of cereal crops allow to satisfy the demand of processing enterprises and fully ensure the needs of the population in the main types of cereals.
In February, Ganzya called the promises of officials when rising retirement age rudeness. She stated that the savings in the Pension Fund of Russia are clearly not enough, because of which the “hole” is constantly closed from the federal budget. The deputy believes that this practice is vicious, and it should be stopped.
In the fall of 2018, the politician complained about the small salary of deputies, after which the Internet users began to collect funds in their favor. Later, she explained that most of the income spends on executive expenses, material assistance to people, and it lacks funds for it.
Also, Ganzya is one of the authors of the draft law on the protection of Russians from rudeness of officials with fines to half a million rubles, which did not accept.
