Russian Embassy in Sudan has denied suspension of Treaty on Marine Base

Russian Embassy in Sudan denied the allegations that Khartoum suspended the Agreement on the construction of the Russian Sea Base in the Red Sea. The diplomatic confinement reported this in Instagram .

The embassy emphasizes that these statements do not correspond to reality, so that it would not be said so-called “sources.”

On the suspension of the agreement before approving by its Parliament, the sovereign Council of Sudan or the Government of the country became known on the eve, on April 28. It was also reported that together with the freezing construction of Sudan, the Sudan banned any new placement of the Russian military in one of the bays of the republic. The Sudan Foreign Ministry noted that they do not have information about the freezing of the agreement.
