In the Scientific and Production Association “Energomash” named after Academician V.P. Glushko (part of the state corporation “Roskosmos”) a meeting was held by the participants of the “Association of Procurement Directors”. The organization is the only official association of professionals in the field of corporate procurement in Russia and unites more than 300 leaders in the sphere of procurement of leading companies in the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the meeting is the exchange of experience and the presentation of the procurement strategy of the leading Space Enterprise of Russia – NGO Energomash, which is also the head for enterprises included in the integrated rocket engine structure. Before the meeting, participants were organized excursions to the NGO Energomash demonstration hall, which presents the entire line of liquid rocket engines developed by the enterprise, as well as excursions to the mechanics collection shop and the final assembly shop, where the legendary NGO Energomash engines are harvested.
During the meeting, the Deputy General Director for Procurement Damir Shaiders spoke about the development of procurement activities in NGO Energomash and at the enterprises of the integrated rocket engine building structure. One of the key solutions in changing procurement activities, which was implemented in NGO Energomash in the past few years is a transition to a process approach. In addition, another important step was to introduce procurement modules in the ERP system created in the enterprise.
Head of the Department of Procurement Organization Patricia Sanakoeva spoke about the introduction of automation in the procurement process. Tools such as integration with electronic trading platforms, monitoring the procurement management process, automated formation of procurement documentation, regulation of coordination processes, make it possible to reduce the preparation of documents for procurement procedures, minimize the “human factor”, reduce labor costs.
The founder of the “Association of Procurement Directors” Andrei Chernogorov noted that despite certain restrictions on the conduct of procurement activities, including 223 FZ, NGO Energomash is one of the non-reliable export flagships, including those who are engaged in the enterprise procurement and cost of products that are manufactured in NGO Energomash and enterprises of the integrated rocket engine building structure.
