Russia decided to gradually abandon the cars at the fossil fuel and plans to establish requirements for automakers in the share of selling “green” transport operating on hydrogen, electricity and gas from 2030. This was told by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Science Denis Manturov, writes TASS.
He noted that the country has already fully joined the process of “green” reversal. Mandatory selling environmentally friendly transport must be made to give this process the acceleration, Manturov emphasized. “We will initiate monetary incentives for refusing to use energy-intensive technologies and” dirty “, gray resources,” said the minister.
he added that the authorities intend to act carefully, “balancing issues of ecology with the tasks of industry development.” Manturov also stated that in the country in the coming years, its own release of water bows, locomotives and ships on hydrogen will begin.
Earlier it was reported that commercial aircraft with electric motors may appear in Russia by 2030. The introduction of electric grids depends on several factors – operation, infrastructure, manufacturing prices, airplane types.
Manturov also stated that the serial production of the first Russian electric car Zetta is scheduled to be launched until the end of this year.
