The Ministry of Agriculture offered to temporarily restrict exports from Russia buckwheat and buckwheat, RIA Novosti reports.
“in order to preserve the necessary amounts of buckwheat and buckwheat in the domestic market and prevent sharp price fluctuations, during the subcommittee on customs tariff regulation, the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia made an initiative about the temporary restriction of the export of this product,” the Ministry reported.
Earlier in the media, information appeared on the possible increase in buckwheat prices and other cereals in the foreseeable future. Representatives of trading networks and suppliers reported that in February, suppliers began to overestimate purchasing prices by 7.5-15 percent.
Then the Ministry of Agriculture rejected the possibility of rising prices.
