Moon died to moon with Armstrong Astronaut Michael Collins

The American astronaut Michael Collins died, one of the participants in the expedition to the moon as part of the crew “Apollo 11”. The cause of death became cancer. This is reported by the Unilad Edition.

Collins died on April 28 at the age of 90.

Michael Collins was the crew commander of the Apollo 11 spacecraft and the third astronaut on his board with the Nile Armstrong and the Basz Oldrin. He remained piloting a team module in orbit around the moon, when two other astronauts first landed on the surface of the Earth’s satellite on July 20, 1969.

In July 1966, Collins, having completed his first space flight to “Gemini-10”, became the third American (and the fourth person in the world), published in open space, and the first person in the world that did it twice. He also became the second after John Yang astronaut (Commander “Apollona-10”), who flew around the moon alone. Despite the opportunity to participate in the Mission “Apollo-17” and again fly to the moon, the American decided to complete the career of Astronaut.
