Tatneft deputy heads Azat Yagafarov calculated the size of the loss for the budget of Russia from cancellation of benefits for oilmen, which entered into force from January 2021, writes RBC.
According to Yagafarov, until 2030, the budget is missing about trillion rubles due to the fact that companies will significantly reduce investment in the development of deposits and mining.
In particular, for Tatneft, the reduction will be 225 billion rubles for nine years, and oil production will decline by 98 million tons. This will entail a reduction in the database for mining and export duties, which will act in Russia until 2024.
From January 2021, the changes developed by the government in the fall of last year entered into force. They impliate the abolition of benefits for the extraction tax (NDPI) for developed deposits and for ultra-oil oil, as well as a change in the newly introduced tax on the added income (NDD) towards increasing the base.
It was assumed that the reform would increase tax collection from oil companies by about 290 billion rubles per year. Its necessity justified the need to replenish the budget against the background of falling oil prices.
