The elected President of Ecuador Guillermo Lasso appealed to the Russian leader Vladimir Putin with a request. He stated this during the Presentations the future of the government.
According to Lasso, he sent a letter to the President of Russia, in which he asked to support the country in the issue of coronavirus vaccines. “With the new government, we have already initiated procedures to accelerate the supply,” leads his words RIA Novosti.
He added that the United States and China were also sent similar requests. In particular, Beijing is requested not only to speed up the supply of drugs, coordinated earlier, but also approve new ones.
Former banker Guillermo Lasso received the greatest number of votes in the second round of the presidential election on April 11. It represents the center-night “Cream Movement”. During his election campaign, Lasso promised to vaccinate 9 million citizens for 100 days in power.
