Czech President Milos Zeman explained the decision to support the expulsion of the staff of the Russian Embassy of His dislike of intelligence officers. He told about it during the television on Sunday, April 25, RIA Novosti reports.
Zeman noted that when the prime minister Andrei Babish and the First Deputy Prime Minister Yang Hamachek told him about the intention to send Russian diplomats, he immediately agreed with them. “You know why? I do not like these intelligence officers, they mainly bring more harm than good,” said the head of the republic.
He also criticized the world reconnaissance staff, remembering the example of the CIA. “The CIA is a special service that informed the American government that in Iraq there is a weapon of mass lesion. And it was not only not confirmed, but it was [then completely] refuted,” explained Zemlan, adding that such service statements led to a huge material Damage and cost thousands of lives.
Earlier it was reported that during his speech, Zemman made that the story around the explosions at military warehouses in the Czech Vrbetice, which occurred in 2014, can actually be a consequence of the game of the special services.
April 18, Moscow announced 20 employees of the Czech Republic Embassy with people Non Grata. These measures were taken in response to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from the republic day earlier.
