History around explosions in military warehouses in the Czech Vrbetice, which occurred in 2014, can actually be a consequence of the game of the special services. This was told by the President of the Czech Republic Milos Zeman, his words on Sunday, April 25, leads RIA Novosti.
As noted by politician, if Russia will be proven that Russian agents are involved in the incident, Moscow will have to pay for it, including the loss of economically important projects, in particular the exception of Rosatom from the tender for the construction of a nuclear power plant in shorts.
“If, on the contrary, this suspicion will be refuted, it means that we are talking about an intelligence game,” Zeman said. At the same time, he stressed that such special services can have extremely serious consequences for the political life of the Czech Republic.
Earlier in his speech, Zeman noted that in the state of security and information services (counterintelligence) of the country there is no evidence of the presence of “Russian agents” in the warehouse of ammunition in Vrbetice. At the same time, he called not to make any conclusions about the causes of the incident until the end of the investigation.
April 18, Moscow announced 20 employees of the Czech Republic Embassy with people Non Grata. These measures were taken in response to the expulsion of Russian diplomats from the republic day earlier. Prague considered that they work under covering the Russian special services, which, in turn, allegedly connected with explosions in Vrbetice. Also Prague announced the search for Russians Alexander Petrov and Ruslana Bolsharova. Representatives of Czech special services believe that they were at the explosion site in Vrbetice in 2014.
Explosions in the warehouse of ammunition occurred on October 16 and December 3, 2014. As a result of the incidents killed two people. The causes of incidents were not installed.
