Baltic Fleet held planned air combat training with Su-27 fighters. Interfax reports this with reference to the Military Association release.

Sea aviation during the workout received a signal about the invasion of unidentified aircraft into the airspace of Russia. According to the plan of the exercises, the conditional opponent aircraft crossed the country’s air border to apply a rocket bomb strike on strategically important military objects.

Ten SU-27 fighters flew to the interception, discovered the “enemy” aircraft and destroyed. Crews performed the accelerated training of fighters for departure, steaming ups and electronic launches of controlled missiles on the “enemy”. The exercises were held in bright and darkness.
