European Union will discuss collective expulsion of Russian diplomats

European Union (EU) will discuss the collective expulsion of Russian diplomats working on the territory of the association. It is reported by the newspaper “Izvestia” with reference to the sources in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Lithuania.

is noted, in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, even before the expulsion of 18 employees, Russian diploma structures were threatened, according to publications, to get support of colleagues in the North Atlantic Alliance. In addition, the official representative of the European Commission Peter Stano stated that it was Russia who creates tensions in relations with the association.

Russia and the Czech Republic relations worsened against the background of the accusations against the Russian special services, which Prague considers involved in an explosion in the warehouse of ammunition in Vrbetice in 2014. In this regard, she sent 18 diplomats, who are suspected of work at the special services, and Moscow in response declared people Non Grata of 20 employees of the Czech Embassy.

Following the Czech Republic, Russian diplomats sent Slovakia. There were called three officers of the diplomatic confession to leave the country within seven days.
