Post-flight studies involving cosmonauts begin at the site of their landing. After a long stay in orbit, the crew members are difficult to walk, stand, orient in space. It is at this moment that it is important to conduct the first part of the studies that allow you to trace the dynamics of the restoration of the functional health of the cosmonauts, which is of exceptional importance for the preparation of interplanetary flights.
Experts register sensor readings, while astronauts perform the simplest steps: go to a flat surface, step over obstacles, get out of the chair. Tests are held several times in different times after landing the crew, but the first study is trying to organize directly in the sanitary and evacuation tent where the astronauts are usually carried on the hands. Create a scientific and technical ground for carrying out work on flight programs to the moon, interplanetary flights and the development of the planets of the solar system is also called by another experiment – “constellation-lm”. But his goal is to evaluate the operator activity of astronauts after long flights and the ability to perform various works.
The first stage of the Experiment of the “Constellation-LM-21/22” with the participation of the cosmonaut of Roscosmos Sergey Ryzhikov was held on April 18, 2021 – the day after returning to the crew of the ISS-64 expedition. Sergey Kud-cakes joined a colleague a little later. For him, “constellation” is a new experience, as well as other post-flight research, because previously he did not commit space expeditions.
Cosmonauts performed the necessary actions in statics and in a dynamics using the simulator of the managed descent of the transport piloted ship “Soyuz MS” based on the Centrifuge CF-18. The possibility of landing on the surface of the planet is estimated in manual mode after a long flight.
For the fifth day after planting the crew of the study in the framework of the “Constellation-LM-21/22” experiment, they spent on the “Don Union” simulator. Cosmonauts simulated the process of controlling the spacecraft when performing a manual moisture mode. The quality of the execution of the tasks and the psychophysical state of the test participants was evaluated. This data is also needed to specialists for further use when forecast for cosmonauts in longer flights.
