On February 24, it was reported that the richest man in the country was replaced in Russia – Alexei Mordashov became him with a fortune of $ 29.2 billion. He overtook the president of the Interros holding and the largest shareholder of Norilsk Nickel, Vladimir Potanin, whose fortune was estimated at $ 28.8 billion.
The aggregate wealth of the richest Russians in January-February increased sharply by $ 18.291 billion. At the same time, there are fewer people in Russia with a fortune of more than $ 30 million. Their number decreased by a thousand people over the year (to 8015).
