Names of those killed in An-26 plane crash in Kazakhstan have become known

In the crash of the An-26 plane at the Almaty airport, four people were killed, all of them were military personnel of the Aviation Service of the National Security Committee (KNB) of Kazakhstan. Their names were reported by the KNB press service, TASS reports.

Among the dead are navigator Gabit Barlykbayev, onboard technician of the flight group Doszhan Baimuratov, navigator of the flight group crew Mukhtar Sagimbaev and senior onboard mechanic of the flight group Yevgeny Vasilkov.

“The crew of the AN-26 military transport aircraft was experienced and professionally trained, until the end of their lives they were faithful to the oath and military honor,” the agency reports the KNB.

The An-26 plane crash became known on March 13. The board belonged to the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, it followed the route Nur-Sultan – Almaty. The accident occurred while the aircraft was approaching for landing. There were six people on board, four were killed, two were hospitalized.
