Blocking former White House chief Donald Trump on Twitter upset him more than losing the November presidential election to Democrat Joe Biden. His niece Mary told Business Insider about this.
Mary Trump, a clinical psychologist who has written a highly critical book about her uncle and family in general, told Insider that the former US president “didn’t care about politics” and was much more upset about Twitter’s decision to permanently ban him from using the social network, and the refusal of the PGA of America to host the PGA Championship at his pitch in Bedminster, NJ, rather than news that he has lost the election.
“I think the ban on Twitter and the PGA ban on tournaments on his golf courses are probably the worst things that have happened to him in the past four years,” she said. “How does he manage without Twitter? Because even he needs to understand that people are not really paying attention to him like they used to,” Trump added.
Mary Trump is the daughter of Donald Trump’s late brother Fred. Her book Too Much and Always Not Enough: How My Family Created the Most Dangerous Man in the World, about the former head of state, was published this summer.
