Lukashenko remembered 1941 and said about broken tooth of enemies of Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko spoke about the plans of the enemies to destabilize the situation in the country, noting that now no one will attack with troops, as it was in the middle of the last century. BelTA informs about it in its Telegram-channel.

“No one will attack us in groups, as they did in 1941. Because the situation has changed. It will be too obvious, and this is the third world war, if only this happens,” he stressed.

Lukashenka added that the country will be undermined from within. He recalled the August protests after the presidential elections. In his opinion, Belarus was then “tasted”. “They’ve broken a tooth. Now they will try to do all their teeth, and they will try from the inside,” Lukashenka is sure.

According to him, wars are acquiring a different character, under the changing world “the military organization has also caved in.” “There is no need to sit in the troops and wait for someone to cross our border and then we will take a gun and start fighting. We will fight from here. You must be ready for this,” the president summed up.

Earlier, the State Security Committee of Belarus warned citizens about the opposition’s plans to destabilize the situation in the country on March 25-27, and also recorded an increase in terrorist threats, including against officials.

At the end of February, Lukashenko spoke about the ongoing attempts to undermine the country. He warned that 2021 will be a very difficult year, there is “some misunderstanding of the development processes of Belarus” in society. “They need to shake the people. But how to shake them? We need to find something against the authorities. And first of all, we need to take off the head. And the head is the president. That’s their whole policy,” Lukashenko said.

In Belarus, protests have been going on for more than six months after the presidential elections on August 9, 2020, according to the official results of which Lukashenko received 80 percent of the vote. The actions of those who disagree with the results are harshly suppressed by law enforcement agencies. Tens of thousands of people were detained, many spoke of torture and beating in isolation wards. Four people died in clashes with security forces.
