Infant was mistakenly vaccinated against Covid-19

A six-month-old baby in Chile was mistakenly vaccinated with the Chinese coronavirus vaccine. This is reported by the Chilean TV channel 24 Horas.

The mother brought the child to the hospital for routine vaccinations required at his age. However, doctors mistakenly injected him with a drug against the coronavirus of the Chinese company Sinovac.

The child was placed under the supervision of doctors, but so far no adverse reactions have been found. In the aftermath of the incident, an investigation was launched to investigate the circumstances under which the child was given the wrong vaccine.

At the end of December, it was reported that eight employees of a nursing home in Germany mistakenly received a five-fold dose of the coronavirus vaccine. They were immediately informed of the error. It is noted that no serious side effects were found in the victims. Four of them were hospitalized with mild flu-like symptoms as a precautionary measure. The rest were sent home.
