The representative of the Taliban movement (prohibited in the Russian Federation) declared the readiness to perform attacks on foreign soldiers if they were not brought from Afghanistan to a declared period – until May 1. About this on Friday, March 26, reports Tolonews.
At the same time, the representative of the movement stressed that the responsibility for the possible continuation of violence in Afghanistan will fall on those who have not fulfilled the terms of the agreement. This statement was the answer to the words of the American president Joe Bayiden on the difficulties with the conclusion of troops from Afghanistan by May 1.
Earlier, Biden declared a breakdown of the timing of troops from Afghanistan. He admitted that it would be difficult to bring American troops up to May 1, as his predecessor Donald Trump promised.
In July 2020, the then Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said that the United States plans to fully bring his troops from Afghanistan to May 2021. He stressed that the American army reduced his military presence in the country half. The United States introduced troops to Afghanistan after the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 in New York.
