Dozens of people detained in Belarus

In Belarus, law enforcement agencies detained dozens of people, reports Tut.BY with reference to the Human Rights Center “Spring”.

On Wednesday, on March 24, about 40 people were detained due to administrative and criminal matters. In particular, blogger Egor Tubelievich is suspected of blocking the movement of trains, neurologist Ruslan Badamshin – in hooliganism. Some citizens were taken to the police because of white-red and white symbolism, which is used on protest.

At the same time, according to human rights defenders, the cause of most arrests is unknown.

On Thursday, March 25, the arrests continue.

Earlier it was reported that military equipment was noticed on the road to Minsk. On March 25, the Belarusian opposition traditionally celebrates the Will Day in honor of the anniversary of the proclamation of the Belarusian People’s Republic.
