Wednesday, March 24, 2021, on the basis of the Regional Center for Detection and Support Gifted Children “Antares” in Nalchik, the final stage of protection of project works of the participants of the program “Duty on the Planet” program in directions was completed:
- “Space Robotics – Rovers” – participants developed a planet carrier, which made the task on the arrangement of triangulation beacons to determine the coordinates of the construction of a cosmodrome;
- “Rocket Moscow” – schoolchildren for 2 weeks have become a space agency performing an order for the creation Life cycle of rocket-space equipment;
- “We make a data reception station in the L-range from meteorological satellites with your own hands” – Participants solved the task of receiving a picture from the L-band satellite by moving the drone above the horizontal mirror of the receiving Stations;
- “Applied Space Systems – Scientific Experiments” – Participants have developed projects of space missions with research tasks implemented on the basis of ultra-low satellites of the modern Cubesat format.
The final projects have become the final stage of the two weeks of project teams. On the final day, the winners and closure of the “Sirius-2021 space program” took place, which was attended by 130 schoolchildren from 39 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
The winners of the Sirius-2021 space program will receive additional 10 points to the exam for individual achievements for admission to the university, and all program participants will have the opportunity to pass further training in the summer in the Sirius educational center in the direction of “Space Technologies”, where They will be able to continue to engage in project activities and develop their abilities.
