Rosstat reported the rise in prices for sugar, eggs and other foods in their report with the assessment of the consumer price index from March 16 to March 22, published on the site.
So, Sugar-sand on average in Russia rose by 0.8 percent, chicken eggs – by 1.3 percent, sunflower oil – by 0.5 percent, chicken meat – by 1.5 percent. In addition, during the specified period, the prices of lamb (1.5 percent), sterilized milk, buckwheat (0.6 percent), beef, wheat flour (0.5 percent). 0.4 percent more expensive steel boiled sausage, margarine, dry dairy mixes, caramel.
At the same time, fruits and vegetables on average fell by one percent due to lower cucumber prices (9.7 percent) and tomatoes (2.8 percent). In addition, 0.4 percent fell in price millet, 0.1 percent – canned meat, rice, chocolate candies.
