March 11-12, 2021 in the Roskosmos Roskosmospical Rocket Center) held an annual competition “Best in automated design” in three nominations: “Development of technological processes in CAD TP” Vertical “, “The rationing of technological processes developed in the CAD TP TP” Vertical “, as well as the competence of the CAD engineering schedule using Creo Parametric 2.0 based on international standards WORLDSKILLS.
In total, 67 people took part in the competition of professional skills this year, including 2 representatives of the Progress RCC branch – Spectrum OKB (Ryazan). The competition for the title “The Best in Automated Design” is held in the RCC “Progress” since 2007.
Earlier participation in the competition could take young professionals under the age of 30. The main innovation of 2021 was the removal of restrictions on the age of contestants, which made it possible to show their knowledge and skills to those employees of the enterprise, who have already stepped over the age of young professionals.
Currently, a downward design technology based on CREO PARAMETRIC 2.0 solutions and Windchill PDMLink is actively introduced in the Progress Rocket and Space Center. The application of these systems significantly improves the quality of development, reduces the design time of the technological processes and production in the enterprise.
