In Belarus, the prosecutor’s office opened a criminal case against the high school teacher in the city of Svisloch Grodno region for slander in relation to President Alexander Lukashenko. This is reported by Tut.By.
According to the supervisory department, the 56-year-old teacher of August 20 last year on the central square “was deliberately expressed by the challenging, knowing personal fabrications, connected with his accusation of a particularly heavy crime.”
He faces the restriction of freedom for up to five years or imprisonment for the same period.
On August 20, a rally with the participation of about 50 people took place in Svislodi. Citizens gathered signatures on demand to publish the protocols of all election commissions.
