The Russian government has changed the rules of payments of maximum unemployment benefits. The new order will affect the dismissed due to the elimination of organizations, as well as pregnant and conscripts, the press service of the Cinema.
Thanks to new changes, questions are settled by the accrual of benefits in cases where the beginning of the payment period is shifted or the period is interrupted, explained in the government.
According to the law, citizens begin to receive unemployment benefits since the registration center in the employment center, that is, from the first day of recognition of a citizen unemployed. The first three months, the Russian receives a guide in the amount of 75 percent of the average salary for three months, but not more than 12 130 rubles, and the next three months – 60 percent, but not more than five thousand rubles.
It is noted that the citizen’s lost work of these categories receives in the first three months is not an unemployment benefit, but an average salary on the past place of work. Because of the rules operating until recently, they could no longer receive unemployment benefits in the maximum due to the fact that the first three months from the date of recognition of their unemployed has already expired. Thanks to the new rules for such citizens, the payment period will be postponed. The maximum amount of benefits will be charged from the fourth to the sixth month of unemployment.
Earlier it was reported that in Russia the simplified procedure for registering the unemployed was extended. It is noted that decisions will be taken by the leaders of the regions based on the epidemiological situation and the specifics of regional labor markets. Temporary simplified procedure for registration of the unemployed was to stop working from March 31. With its help, the Russians were treated in employment services through the portals of the State Service and “Work in Russia”. However, in March, Mintrost published a draft resolution to extend these rules until July 30.
On March 10, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Russia Anton Kotyakov said that by the beginning of March there was less unemployed in the country. According to him, now there are 2.1 million.
