Copenhagen University scientists doubted the existence of dark energy, which is considered to be responsible for the accelerated expansion of the universe and is 70 percent of the entire existing mass energy. According to a new assumption of physicists, in fact it is dark matter. This is reported in preprint published in the ARXIV repository.
In the new model, the researchers have darkened dark matter, which is 25 percent of the entire mass energy of the universe, special magnetic properties. It turned out that this is enough to have an impact on the expansion of the universe, similar to how it makes dark energy. However, physicists admit that it may be a coincidence, and only more detailed observations will allow you to determine which of the two models corresponds to reality.
According to the generally accepted cosmological theory, the accelerated expansion of the Universe is associated with the presence of dark energy, which, in accordance with the Friedman model – Robertson – Walker, evenly fills the space and has a constant density.
Earlier it was reported that the university scientists in Mana explained the accelerated expansion of the universe by the exisotic objects resembling black holes, but consisting of dark energy. Unusual objects called geods in large quantities are contained in an empty space between galaxies.
