Putin demanded from officials responsible attitude to budget

Russian President Vladimir Putin demanded that the officials of all levels of responsible attitude towards the budget. He stated this on Wednesday, on March 31, at a meeting with members of the Cabinet of Ministers, his words leads TASS.

The head of state reminded about situations where the treasury of some regions “turned out to be trapped” because of too expensive commercial loans.

“Of course, you need to decide this problem, and we will do it. But from the leaders of all levels, it takes a very responsible attitude towards the budget process,” Putin stressed.

So the president commented on the words of the governor of the Chelyabinsk region Alexey Texler that the subjects with a large commercial debt did not receive the appropriate amount of restructuring and “turned out to be trapped.” Putin recalled that some leaders of the regions, “having the opportunity to take timely budget loans or even replace it in a timely manner.” They preferred “on the rolled money to take expensive money in credit institutions and accumulate the so-called commercial debt,” the president concluded.

Earlier on March 31, at the signing ceremony of the General Agreement between the associations of trade unions, the associations of employers and the Government of the Russian Federation at 2021-2023, Putin compared the unrestrained profit of the profit without caring for people with a shot in his own foot. He added that “wild capitalism” is unacceptable, because leads to the destruction of society, states and business.

Previously, the center of macroeconomic analysis and short-term forecasting (DSMACP) predicted a possible budget crisis in some Russian regions.
