Scientist told about danger of a smartphone for brain

The smartphone has become a kind of “external memory” for a modern man. This in an interview with Radio Sputnik stated Dr. Biological Sciences, Professor of the Biological Faculty of Moscow State University named after Lomonosov, Psychophysiologist Alexander Kaplan.

The scientist explained that the use of a gadget as a storage device leads to a deterioration in its own memory. So, if you often look at the screen, to find out the schedule or recall something, the brain gets used to such prompts. “It is clear that both the muscles are atrophy without movement, so those responsible for the memory of the brain mechanisms are weakened in the absence of full-fledged employment,” he compared.

At the same time, Kaplan clarified that it does not call for the abandonment of smartphones. According to him, it will be enough to easily approach the use of gadgets and not to spend everything free time in them.
