Extra vocational education training course “International Cosmic Law”, organized by the Corporate Academy of Roskosmos and the Law Institute of the Russian University of Friendship of Peoples, started today.
This is the second set of this program. The course is undergoing managers, researchers and managers of projects of enterprises of the rocket and space industry, as well as specialists working in related industries. This time, in addition to Russian students, representatives of many countries also showed active interest in the program. Participants from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan were joined to the list of listeners.
“In our time, the scale of international cooperation in the field of space development has increased dramatically, the rapid commercialization of space activities began, so new knowledge in this area is very important. I am a lot from this program,” the participant of the Aydin Aimbetov program, Deputy Chairman, notes Board – Member of the Board for the Production of JSC “NK” Kazakhstan “, Sapara”, Cosmonaut of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The course is considering the legal aspects of space activities, as well as potential problems and negative changes in the earth’s environment arising from participation in the space activities of non-governmental legal entities. Roskosmos Corporate Academy further plans to continue to expand the subjects of the conducted courses in the field of international issues of space, developing fruitful cooperation with leading universities of the country.
