US Allies killed 80 peaceful Afghans and went to court

Netherlands, the former US Allies on the International Coalition in Afghanistan, confused civilians with militants and killed 80 inhabitants of the Afghan city of Chora in 2007. Such charges are held in a lawsuit, the Dutch court has begun to consider the RT.

The lawsuit was filed with the four Afghans who survived the operation, and relatives of another victim, who died before the start of court proceedings. According to them, the Dutch military, reflecting the attack of the Taliban movement (prohibited in Russia), allegedly confused civil and military purposes. Moreover, they did not warn residents of the city about preparing artillery strikes – they caught them in a dream.

The plaintiffs accuse the Dutch government in “war crimes” and require compensation. Their lawyer stated in court that the incident demonstrates that “Afghan’s life means nothing” for the Netherlands, and demanded a public bombing protocols. The protection side insists that the operation was carried out properly, and the accusations of the Dutch government were not supported by anything.

US injected troops to Afghanistan after the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001 in New York.
