Sharing Untile-free Strategic Bombers B-2 Spirit and F-35 Lightning II fighters is the “new super-building” US Air Force (Air Force) against Russia in the Arctic, tells American magazine The National Interest.
The publication notes that the use of new tactics by these tactics can be influenced by the containment initiatives and demonstrate strength in the Arctic region. The magazine notes that the joint use of B-2 SPIRIT and F-35 Lightning II passes within the framework of the concept of a sectocentric conflict.
The National Interest suggests that in the case of hostilities, bomber could act on large stationary objects in the region, while the tasks of the fighter would have been the provision, in particular, air support and observation of the opponent.
“Russian ambitions in the Arctic are well known and clearly cause a serious concern of the Pentagon, given that Russia exploits more icebreakers and has a large territory bordering the Arctic zone,” the publication concludes.
In March, The National Interest magazine wrote that B-1B Lancer strategic bombers and F-35 Lightning II fighters are preparing to fight with Russia in the Arctic.
In the same month, the DRIVE edition reported that the US B-1B Lancer and B-2 SPIRIT Air Force in mid-March took part in a joint training flight from the coast of Iceland, Greenland and the United Kingdom, where the appearance of Russian warships and aircraft.
