Spaniards asked not to let tourists in country

Most of the Spaniards oppose foreign tourists to the country. This is due to the limitations entered due to the COVID-19 pandemic, writes El Mundo with reference to the SIGMA DOS center survey.

About 60 percent of respondents were asked not to open borders while the country had restrictions on movement. At the same time, about 31 percent of the Spaniards, on the contrary, would support foreign tourists, if more stringent control measures were applied in the country.

In addition, the majority of respondents (63.5 percent) doubted that vaccination would help that the pandemic ended by the summer. Among them, most are people from 30 to 64 years. At the same time, 29.4 percent of respondents, on the contrary, are optimistic – these are people aged 18 to 29 years.

Thousands of adults of Spain participated in the survey.

Spanish authorities want to vaccinate from coronavirus most of the population by the end of the summer of 2021. There are approved products Moderna, Pfizer / Biontech and Astrazeneca.
