Consistent spending Russians on Internet during a pandemic

Coronavirus Pandemic and self-insulation regime have caused the growth of spending Russians on the Internet. The average check for communication services in 2020 increased to 619 rubles, which is 2 percent more than the previous year, counted in the Russian Standard Bank. It is reported by the RIA Novosti agency.

The growth of spending on the Internet is associated, first of all, with coronavirus, because of which many moved to the remote and they needed uninterrupted Internet at home.

“The peak of activity of payment of service providers fell on the spring – the season of starting the insulation regime. So, for example, last year, the total number of payments for the Internet in the mobile bank in March increased by 27 percent, in April – by 10 percent, and in May – by 7 percent of the same months of 2019, “said Elena Petrov’s deputy chairman.

Earlier, Russians calculated their spending on the products per month. As a result, it turned out that most Russian families – almost 43 percent – spend on them and other mandatory payments of 15-30 thousand rubles per month.
