Nuclear submarines (Navy) of the Navy (Navy) of Russia, acting under ice in the Arctic, are faced with a “terrible opponent” – three submarines of the SeaWolf type of the US Military Forces (Navy), the American magazine Popular Mechanics writes.
“All three submarines – Seawolf, Connecticut and Jimmy Carter – were specially created for work under the ice and the search for a submarine, launching missiles,” writes the publication.
In this way, the magazine commented on the simultaneous pop-up from under the ice of three Russian submarines, which the publication called “a demonstration of force with a loud message: [Russian] Submarines can run rockets from inaccessible to American regions.”
The corresponding teachings involving the Navy of Russia took place in March. At the same time, on satellite images, in the area of floating near submarines, the resulting “huge hole” was noticed, formed, probably, by starting torpedoes of one of the apple.
In January 2020, Izvestia, referring to the sources in the Ministry of Defense of Russia, reported that the APL protruding the carriers of strategic weapons involve unmanaged reactive projectiles (LDCs). According to the newspaper, such products will ensure the formation of worm, through which the ballistic missiles will be held.
