Two Australian soldiers appeared before the court after the teenage girls were raped 14 and 15 years old. The incident occurred in September 2020 with military personnel with a military base located in the vicinity of Darwin, writes Daily Mail.

The younger of the criminals were released on bail under strict conditions. It is incriminated with 13 offenses, including the sale of drugs and alcohol minors, storage of unlicensed firearms and sex with children. Its 20-year-old colleague is accused of transferring drugs to a minor person and entry into sexual intercourse without consent. At the same time, the man’s lawyer insists on the innocence of the ward: According to him, the girl in front of what happened was lied about his age, saying that she was more than 16 years old.
According to the lawyer, it is necessary to deal with how the teenager was drunk at the moment of the incident and could he agree in such a state. However, the judge of Tanya Austin (Tanya Austin) insisted that, judging by the reports, the victim expressed a protest several times. She noted that serious accusations were made against the military personnel, on which the maximum punishment in the form of 14 years of imprisonment for the supply of prohibited drugs, he could also threaten until life imprisonment for sex without consent.
Also, according to Austin, the accusation insists that the soldier knew that the girl did not give a report to his actions, as it was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. It is specified that consideration of these cases will continue in May.
