Czech Republic authorities suspected Russian special services in the involvement of the explosion in a warehouse in Vrbetice, which occurred in 2014. This was stated by the Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babish, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Nova TV channel.
“There is a reasonable suspicion of the involvement of Russian officers to explode in the warehouse of ammunition in Vrbetice in 2014. Huge damage was caused … But first of all, two of our compatriots were killed there,” he said.
Czech Republic announced the expulsion from the country of 18 Russian diplomats on April 17. They are suspected of working on Russian intelligence services, which are allegedly involved in this explosion.
