The building of the Russian Embassy in Prague passed a rally, which ended with the scuffle of supporters and opponents of Russia. One of the participants in the clash detained the police. This is reported by TASS.
The action was organized by representatives of the civil initiative campaign “Million Moments” after the Czech authorities accused Russian special services in involvement in the explosions in the warehouse of ammunition in Vrbetice in October 2014. About 100 people came to the rally, who came to an event with posters and banners, on which abusive inscriptions for the Russian authorities were applied.
Soon after the end of the rally, a group of Russian supporters came to the meeting place, in which there were more than ten people. One of the pro-Russian activists began to broadcast through a portable loudspeaker, but the participants of the promotion selected the microphone. Soon between supporters of different opinions began a short skirmish, which the police stopped. Some people received fines for the lack of masks on the face, and one of the rally member was detained.
Czech Republic announced the expulsion from the country of 18 Russian diplomats on Saturday, April 17. Embassy staff are suspected of cooperation with Russian special services, which are allegedly involved in an explosion in the warehouse of ammunition in Vrbetice on October 16, 2014.
