Thus, Customers of the Russian Standard Bank can set a number of restrictions on online operations on cards, as well as for cash withdrawal. Also, you can establish a ban on operations abroad. At the same time, the “Opening” bank is not planned to create a similar service, noting that if the regulator needs it, “the bank will incur additional costs for the IT implementation of major improvements in their systems.”

At the same time, the bank does not expect a decline in commission income, since the disconnection service will be relevant for customers who rarely use online payments and translations.

Earlier it was reported that the Central Bank proposed to make changes to the Criminal Code to punish telephone fraudsters. According to the statement of the Central Bank, it is necessary to make the criminals using social engineering methods to deceive the Bank’s customers, fell under part 6 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code “Fraud”. The maximum punishment on it is six years of imprisonment.
