The European Union (EU) excludes the introduction of sanctions against sovereign debt of Russia. This is reported by TASS with reference to a diplomatic source in the postpowerment of one of the EU meals in Brussels.
“The question of sanctions against the Russian public debt is not on the agenda of the EU institutions, it is not discussed now, and no EU country offered such measures,” the agency’s interlocutor said.
April 15 US President Joe Biden signed a decree on the introduction of new sanctions against Russia. Restrictions touched individuals and legal entities. Among the grounds for their introduction, the hostile activity of Russia in the cybersfer, interference with the elections in the United States or other foreign states is indicated. The Foreign Ministry stressed that Moscow’s response for sanctions will be “inevitable” and tough.
