On Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 16:30 Moscow time, the permanent representation of Russia under the Council of Europe will hold a “round table”, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Space of Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin and the International Day of Cosmonautics.
In this event, the Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Maria Paychinovich-Buric, Executive Director of the Roskosmos State Corporation on Pilotous Space Programs, Cosmonaut Sergey Cricalev, Head of the European Space Agency for the Preparation of Cosmonauts, Cosmonaut Frank de Winno, as well as ambassadors of a number Council of Europe member countries who participated in the development of space.
It is expected that the central theme of today will be an outstanding role of Soviet cosmos discovers in the development of human civilization, the development of cosmonautics in the Council of Europe member countries, the history and prospects of international cooperation in the space sphere, including using the possibilities of the Council of Europe.
