In Serbia, the production of the Russian vaccine from the coronavirus “satellite V” began. This was reported in the Russian Fund of Direct Investments (RDII).
In the RPI, it was noted that Serbia became the first state in southern Europe, which will produce “satellite V”. The drug will be created on the basis of the Institute of Virology, Vaccine and Serum Torlak.
“Production in Serbia meets the most stringent standards,” stressed in the RFP.

In mid-March, he said that Serbia plans to produce a Vaccine “Satellite V” and Sinopharm. According to him, in Serbia, two vaccine production factories will appear, where a total of up to 40 million doses per year will be manufactured. “Do not forget that we may need three vaccinations per year, so that 15 million doses are for us, and 25 million – for the region,” he explained.
