In Western countries, many people who require medical care – for example, the founder of WikiLeaks Julian Assange. This was stated in the Russian Foreign Ministry in response to the requirements related to the founder of the Foundation for the Fight of Corruption (FBC, included the Ministry of Justice in the Register of Organizations that perform the functions of a foreign agent) Alexey Navalny, reports RIA Novosti.
“In your countries, many people who require medical care, for example, Assange, do,” – offered in the Foreign Ministry.
A similar statement was made by the State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin. He recalled Western politicians about the fate of Assange and the former employee of the National Security Agency (ANB) of the United States Edward Snowden, proposing to take care of them, and not complying with human rights in Russia. According to him, Assange is now in prison, without being able to communicate even with human rights defenders.
