Apple will speed 5G in iPhone

iPhone sold in Europe will receive support for a more high-speed data standard. This is reported by Macrumors with reference to an authoritative analyst MIN-Chi Co. (Ming-Chi Kuo).

In the Research Relations of Min-Chi, it states that the infrastructure of the 5G MMWAVE standard is significantly expanding in Canada, Japan, Australia and a number of European countries. Therefore, the iPhone 13 series flagships scheduled for autumn will receive 5G MMWAVE support in the regions outside the United States. At the moment, the standard is available only for American users iPhone 12.

Apple smartphones released in 2020 have the support of two standards of 5G – MMWAVE and SUB-6. The first is the highest rate of data transfer, however, is designed for short and average distances, the latter is more optimable for large distances. Ko believes that support for the accelerated 5G standard will be available in many major European operators.

Analyst noted that Apple smartphones with MMWave are limited to the American market, their share is 30-35 percent. Support for the faster standard sold in Canada, Japan, Australia and Europe of fixing will increase the share of up to 55-60 percent.

In October Min-Chi Ko stated that the following flagship iPhone will be released without delays. The analyst noted that Apple took into account all the problems with the release of smartphones in 2020 and intends to present the next generation of smartphones exactly on schedule.
