Operator of fiscal data “Taxa” in his study, excerpts from which TASS leads, called vegetables that have risen in March for a quarter in annual terms.
They were potatoes, carrots and beets. According to the authors, the average price of potatoes in March amounted to 49 rubles per kilogram. Sales increased by six percent year in annual terms, prices – by 25 percent.
Carrots in March cost 63 rubles per kilogram, beets – 56 rubles. Their cost rose by 24 and 29 percent, respectively.
At the same time, tomatoes in Russian stores rose on average five percent – up to 206 rubles per kilogram, cucumbers – three percent, up to 140 rubles per kilogram, pepper – by 16 percent, up to 354 rubles per kilogram.
At the end of last year, the government, the largest retailers and manufacturers concluded an agreement on the establishment of fixed vacation and retail prices for sunflower oil and sugar against the background of their sharp rise in price. Initially, the agreement was calculated until April, it was subsequently extended until July.
