last week, from April 12 to April 19, prices for gasoline in Moscow unexpectedly ceased to grow, which happened for the first time in the last few months, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the data of the Moscow Fuel Association.
AI-92 grade remained at 45.24 rubles per liter, and AI-95 – 49.82 rubles. For three kopecks, AI-98 went up – to 56.38 rubles. The first two varieties were added in price only at SHELL gas stations, AI-98 – on the gas station “Oil machines”.
At the same time, diesel fuel even fell. On average, the cost reduction was seven kopecks – to a level of 49.28 rubles.
Last week, gasoline went up by 2-6 kopecks depending on the brand, although then inflation slowed down. The cost of fuel in the capital began to grow in mid-December. Since then, AI-92 has become more expensive per 1.69 rubles, AI-95 – by 1.74 rubles, and AI-98 – by 2.09 rubles. Diesel fuel rose on the ruble.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian authorities could partly limit the export of gasoline to hold its cost. Vice Prime Minister Alexander Novak, who oversees the energy, noticed that the government can support such a measure in a limited period.
Meanwhile, the deputy head of the Ministry of Energy Pavel Sorokin refused to consider the rise in price of gasoline with something critical. He explained a week ago that prices are within inflation.
